In 2019, Mr. Shah was honored with the Valuers Excellence Award by IOV in recognition of his exceptional dedication and leadership. As Secretary of the IOV Ahmedabad Branch, he actively organized professional seminars, coordinated industrial visits, engaged in constructive dialogues with banks, and championed initiatives to uplift and empower the valuer fraternity.
The remarkable journey of Multi Engineers, as it is known today, began in 1987 with the vision and determination of Late Mr. Deepak C. Shah, our esteemed Founder Chairman, in the historically rich yet modest town of Bhavnagar, Gujarat.
The Enduring Legacy of Multi Engineers
A brilliant mind with unwavering dedication, Mr. Shah earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from M.S. University in 1981 and 1983, respectively. He began his professional career in Ahmedabad, but his roots called him back to his hometown. Initially involved in shed fabrication and industrial setup projects, a pivotal shift occurred when he was introduced to the field of valuation by Mr. Vipul Shah, a Chartered Accountant known for his expertise in fundraising and taxation.
From the attic of his home, Mr. Shah embarked on a solo journey—what started as a modest practice soon evolved into a focused, respected valuation consultancy. This evolution would not have been possible without the unwavering support of Mrs. Smita Shah, his lifelong partner and steadfast pillar of strength. She played an instrumental role in managing operations, handling documentation, and laying the operational foundation of what would become Multi Engineers.
Mr. Shah's unwavering commitment to excellence, deep domain knowledge, and professional integrity quickly distinguished him in the industry. He became a government-registered valuer and was empanelled with all major banks and financial institutions. He also qualified as a registered Surveyor and Loss Assessor with the Indian Institute of Insurance Surveyors and Loss Assessors (IIISLA) and the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA), leading to empanelment with all major public sector insurance companies. His vast technical expertise earned him recognition as a Competent Person by the Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization (PESO) and the Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health, Government of Gujarat.
With every assignment, Mr. Shah built more than valuations—he built trust, credibility, and long-standing professional relationships. As his reputation grew, so did the scale and complexity of his projects. His rare blend of technical insight and ethical grounding made him a preferred valuer for banks, government institutions, and industries across the nation.
Mr. Shah dedicated his life to the profession of valuation, nurturing it with passion, precision, and integrity. What began as a humble, home-based endeavor blossomed into M/s. Multi Engineers—a nationally recognized name in valuation and engineering consultancy.
